Lecture Abstract: Water storage in our U.S. reservoirs is decreasing even as our population grows and demand for water increases. It is clearly demonstrated that increasing the rate at which we tap groundwater for water supply is not sustainable and that more surface water storage will be essential to our country’s secure future. Dr. George Annandale, engineer and author, was born in South Africa. His work has taken him from his home in Denver to more than twenty-five countries where he consults on water issues. He is a principal at Golder Associates and has developed wide-ranging solutions in his consultation to governments, private clients, non-governmental organizations, universities, development banks, and aid agencies.
